I’m trying to plan a rather large tour through south east asia before I go to Unicon in 2008. The biggest thing of course is figuring out how much money I’m going to need for this.

I’m trying to find places to stay and am pretty much looking at just hostels or dorms as they are the cheapest places to stay and you can usualy get some pretty sweet places.

I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites that have prices on that kind of thing? I used to use Bootsnall.com but they have gotten really corporate and difficult to navigate.

I could also use some help finding websites for cheap airfare and other travel methods for that end of the world.

South East Asia? Would you consider maybe staying in Cyprus for a day or two?

Sure Cyprus sounds like a hell of a place (I found out it existed when you joined the boards :p). But seriously, I’m interested, I would have to look at a map first and figure out where it is.

I would be around there in june and july.

So nobody knows any good travel websites?

Hmm, June and July 2008… Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to plan even the next month with certainty right now, so I can’t tell if I’ll be here. It’s likely that I will, but then again I don’t know. Please bear me in mind when planning.

Btw, Cyprus is in Medditerranean(which could be on your way either from or to South East Asia).

My favourite travelling website is The Art of Travel. It’s probably a bit outdated, still I like it a lot.
