transporting unicycles on planes

Hi there,

Does anyone have any information on transporting unicycles on planes. I am
working on cruise ships and do a unicycle routine, but have never flown before
with a unicycle. I need to pack a Miyata 24" FX Deluxe and a giraffe. Any hints?
Also, please reply to me at JCRJuggler@aol.com instead of the list as I don’t
read the list that often. Thanks.

For a standard unicycle, one easy way is to take off the pedals (or one pedal)
and put in a cloth bag. The JUA sells such special bags. My system, which has
worked for the last 20 years, is to do absolutely nothing. I just put it on the
plane as it is. I never had any damage.
