It’s May the 25th! Today is widely known as Towel Day by fans and appreciators of Douglas Adams and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Fans carry towels (the absolute most useful item an interstellar hitchhiker can have, not to mention its immense psychological value) around to demonstrate their appreciation.
