Totally new to this, need a little help!

I’m attempting to learn how to unicycle, and got myself a used uni. Paid (converted to USD) around 100 bucks for it. 24"!
I read loads of threads here and some people have suggested that 20" is more suitable for learning, but I want to be able to go about the neighborhood or atttempt Muni in the future. I am only 5’3".

Need help identifying the make and model of this uni!
It looks like a Qu-ax, but I have no idea.

I’ve had only 2 hours attempting to ride. I took half an hour before I could move a meter while holding to a rail. Now I can go up and down a railing with some difficulty.
I mountain bike as well, glad to have shin/knee guards and a helmet. It’s hard as hell, but I’m going to keep trying!

Also, there is a strange sound coming from the uni when it bounces. I have asked the owner about it and he is not sure where it’s coming from.

Here’s the help you need:

Your thread won’t get as many views or replies by unicyclists because it’s in the wrong forum! This forum, Just Conversation, is just for people to come and chat about nonsense.

The proper forum for unicycling threads is Rec.Sport.Unicycling. It’s got a much larger audience, hence, you’ll reach a lot more people, and have a much better chance finding solid answers to your questions.

Good luck!

Hello, The sound to me is something loose, and in the area of the bearings, i would probably take the wheel off and try just bounce the wheel (the bearings are attached to it) and that should help you identify whether its the wheel or on the uni.

Brand - i have been riding for 3 days, and reading about for a week so i have VERY limited knowledge but it has a alexrim DX32 which is what mine runs (but a 20") and it look an awful lot like a Norco, so thats my guess

i google images norco unicycles and this was the first image, it looks like the 24" version of the idle one.

Oh no, should I create another thread? I saw lots of people starting their “beginner” threads here so I thought this was the place to go.

Edit: New thread HERE, please post there instead. Thankyou!
