Toronto Bicycle Show

Greetings…

The Toronto Unicyclists will have a demonstration area again this year at
the Toronto International Bicycle Show, March 1st - 3rd 2002 in the
National Trade Center at Exhibition Place. We will be getting a car !
…and building stairs, platforms and structures to ride on and over. Mark
Jordan and Carl Hoyer (who built most of the equipment at the 2001 NUC)
will be busy again in the next few weeks. This year should be a blast !
Years past, we use to play unicycle hockey or basketball, this year we are
doing trials demos along with freestyle tricks. Carl Hoyer has a digital
camera now, so expect lots of pictures to be posted after the show. Our
club has seen about 15 new people since the convention and improved skill
wise quite a bit. I am really proud to be apart of this great group of
unicyclists.

Additional note: Yuri Abrahams (Semcycle) is in Toronto and attended our
Thursday night club meet. He was giving the beginners some help and advice
on riding. Great to have him here again.

Ah that’s where he hangs out. I missed him already in our club. Give him
my regards if you see him again.

I will be having dinner with him, then taking him to the airport on
Sunday. I will give him your regards.
