Built it, cut a couple of inches from the seatpost, and rode it a
little in the rain today. I’m happy with most of it, but that seat is
barely rideable.
The curve of the top of the seat is too tight, and I barely fit in
there. I think narrower would be good too. I need to position very
carefully. Freemounting ain’t gonna happen on that seat. I’d injure
myself. I think I already did…
The seat on my old Schwinn is comfy enough, except for the sharp metal
edge around the bottom. And it has no handle. Otherwise I’d try to
move it over. I guess I’ll need to shop for a seat that will fit the
Torker’s post. Any suggestions? Not looking for a seat for long rides.

Yup. I’ve definitely got the longer one.

Buy the airseat conversion thing from udc. You will also have to buy the kh fusion cover. It will end up being about $40. That is what I did on 24" lx and it is way awesome.

Thanks. The KH street seat is supposed to be narrower (than other KH
seats I guess), but I’d hate to spend a pile of $ and find I don’t like
it more than the LX seat. Might call UDC and ask about the different
seat shapes. I also might remove the cover and see if I can cut &
adjust the
seat shape.
I’m concerned about the width of the top at the narrowest point.

No problem. It’s on the right way.
For those of you who ride an LX seat, I’m curious what your dimensions
are.
The Torker LX seat is fine…so far. I’m 12(about 90 lbs., 5’2" all aprox.) and it’s been awesome! I can freemount it(standard mount), side mount it, almost stepover mount it(the seat is high, so it’s not exactly safe to say I can) and almost jump mount it(too high again…) etc…I also practiced my uni-basketball on it once, it is AWESOME! I have no complaints.
P.S. The seat post was cut down, but I’m in the middle of a growth spurt so I’ll…re-grow it? The opposite of outgrowing…you get me!
