After weeks of trying to find time to go to the UDC showroom, i was finnaly able to pick up my DX. I have been worried about the weight and that it might effect my vertical on my hop. I got it already assembled and the only thing about it after it is assembled is the seatpost which is really long. I had to cut off about 5-6 inches off of it. Hopping, the weight doesnt effect me at all and actually i can hop higher on it that i could on my other uni (which is about a pound lighter). The weight isnt a big deal at all. So far it is a really good uni and i recomend it to anyone that cant afford to but a KH. 
I was the same way with my DX when I ordered it and thought it might effect my hoping hight because of the weight. However, if you set the tire pressure at the right setting the compression from it makes up for all of the weight. It has also held up for me very well so far.
