I liked the movie. Then again, movies like this I dont have high expectations for how well they stick to truths, reality, story, plot, all that stuff. Movies like this and I focus on the sheer destruction and how well all digital aspects of it came across. Which this movie excelled in.
I cant dive in too deep into this type of movie, just gotta enjoy the little things.
Roland Emmerich is not even an American! this said I think he is the worst film director I can name
eagerly waiting for an head-shrinker 's analysis of his scenes (which I suspect of conveying extremely strange subliminal values )
I really liked it. If you don’t try to take it seriously it is very entertaining. I didn’t even notice how long it was because I was enjoying it so much.
My favorite part was when they were carrying giraffes and elephants around with helicopters.
in the real story…at the beginning the limos tires would’ve blown at the first lil split in the street and they would’ve probably rolled the car and all died…but not before the mother and daughter would’ve been thrown out from the missing rear door and that would’ve been the end of that story.
