On tonight’s edition of the otherwise excellent BBC TV sports quiz program,
Question of Sport, Steven Hendry (seven times World Snooker Champion) was asked
for the name of a sport beginning with U.

He replied, “Unicycling”.

Good answer, I hear the masses on this newsgroup cry.

Unfortunately whoever set the questions didn’t agree and no points were
forthcoming.

Howls of outrage c/o BBC TV please.

I’d love to be able to claim some responsibility for that answer. He was working
at our theatre last january and almost certainly saw me arrive or leave by uni
on more than one day. I think hes back again this jan, so maybe …
