Does anyone know where I can get unicycle tires I live in the Seattle area and I
can’t find any replacment tires for My schwinn uni. Is there somewhere I can
order them? Any address would be appreciated. thanks

If you have a 20" s7 rim you have to get a tire from a schwinn dealer.
It will say S-7 on the side. S-7 rims are not the same size as everyone elses.
If you have a 24" rim any 24" tire will do.
I like the specialized fat boy series. nice and smooth - good wearing tire.
unless you want it for dirt, then atb tires are nice some of them even have a
fairly smooth section down the middle just like your schwinn uni tire.
Also, if you have an S-7 rim and want to get rid of it you could lace on a new
rim. You’d have to get new spokes – the right length and a 28 hole rim. tape
the rims together so the valve stem holes match then one at a time replace each
spoke and move it to the new rim. Of course a bike shop could do this for you,
it used to cost ~$35 labor a few years ago. Tightening the spokes and truing the
wheel IS a skill.
Hope this helps
Eric.

I heard from Semcycle that there’s something like a 1-year waiting list for
repairs at T.U.F… The work is excellent (A friend of mine, Keiar swears by
him), so a lot of people go to him for repairs, etc.
Also, anybody know if Tom and the Uni-bus will be in Ohio at the end of the
month for the NUM meet?
