Tiredness

I’m new to the sport and i notice that i get really tired pretty quick from riding. I been riding for like a week and a half or so and i can go a few hundred feet or so then i get really tired and i have to stop. Anyone know what i might be doing wrong?
Only problem i can think of is i have a short seat post. Im a tall guy and the seat at it’s max still leaves my knees pretty bend at the bottom position, but would this really make that much of a difference in the amount of effort it takes to ride?

also anyone got links to new seats? i havnt really been able to find any

its hard to ride at first, but it geats easier, but remember to put all your weight on your seat

In the beginning saddle height is pretty important. I remember I felt huge difference after I raised the saddle when I was learning: It was both more comfortable and easier to learn.
Basically when the pedal is in the lowest position your leg should only be slightly bent.
And of course what you need is not a new saddle: you need just a longer seatpost. Look for it in the nearest branch of unicycle.com.

Good luck and enjoy your riding

i remember when i first rode down my street, after 200 feet i was completely exhausted, but i soon got over it. the low saddle sounds like the culprit to me. i say get a new seatpost.

Yes, keep your weight on your seat and for normal riding I find posture important aswell.

looking for a seat, try www.unicycle.com and yeah, it’s tiring at first, having the seat too low is especially so.
