both rims will work. as long as you are using a 19" rim it will work with that tire.

I guess what I should have said was: “unless you choose a 24” DX32 rim"

the dx32 recommends with 2.6-3 and the cc is 2.5. I think it will work out though.

Getting off topic here but that recommendation of 2.6-3" tires on a DX32 rim is a bit optimistic.

Wide tires need wide rims and vice versa. I would put the range more around 2.3-2.6 as the DX32 has a 32mm inner width as the name suggests (wide for a bike rim but not that wide for a uni rim)

I used 3" tires on the 24 and 26" versions of the DX32 and felt the rim was to narrow for the tire.
