Tire Pressure and jumping

hey every one iI am pretty new though i have been riding for a few years now but I have never really been getting into doing tricks but I have start really getting into them but i was having issues on how to find the best tyre pressure to suit me I am unsure and I don’t want to make to flat were I can damage wheel so does any one have any suggestions on how to determine the pressure for my self.
(I have a nimbus unicycle with a 24" by 2.50" wheel)
If some one Could help me out that would be really great.

And Also i am thinking bout buying smaller unicycle to do tricks on does any one have any sugestions on what i should get for doing tricks on that should be pretty good

For tricks you should get a unicycle from the list in one of these links.

I can’t give you a number or anything because everyone is different. You’re going to have to try a lot of different pressures to get a feel for what is right. There’s a point where you can feel the tire squish a little when you hop, but not enough for the rim to hit the ground.

Start with it pretty high then hop and mess around for a while. Then let some air out and ride some more. Work your way down until you feel like it is definitely too low – the ride is really sluggish, turning is harder, you actually hit the rim when you jump. Then pump it back up a little bit and ride it like that for a few days. You’ll get a feel for what is too much and what is not enough after a while.

Don’t worry about damaging your rim. That’s unlikely unless you’re jumping off of something tall. The worst thing that can happen is a flat tire, and that’s not very likely when you’re still learning how to hop.

Thanx for the help guys and though i have not really pursued many tricks till now i have got hopping under control like up and down curbs and little gaps but any more than that and i crap.
But any way thanx for the help and also thanx for the ideas with uni cycles i think im gonna go with the Kris Holm 20" unicycle does it really matter weather i get the “street” or the “trials” would i be able to do pretty much the same on each.

same stuff on each, the street is a longneck so if you are tall, over 6ft get a longneck

Or if you want a longneck, I’m only 5’7"ish and I’ve got one. If you’re much shorter than me though I doubt you’d be able to ride one very well.
