I’m looking to get a trials oriented 24" tire. I have a United with a 2.125 wide street tire right now and I have some side clearance but not a whole lot on top. Man, if there was a 24" Monty, I’d be all over that.
Does anyone have some suggestions?
Will the 24x3.0 Fireball fit my frame?
Ahh, I hate to keep replying to my own post, but I just called uni.com and the fireball doesn’t fit on this frame. I’m now leaning toward the 24" hookworm. I did a search for it here and most of the comments are regarding how much it marks up a gym floor. Is this a good trials tire? Does it really run at 60psi?

I was thinking about getting a hookworm for trials on my muni because firball sidewalls are like paper thin. I can imagine hookworms being thicker because it is tread all over. Plus I have enjoyed hookworm 26es on urban assault b*ikes.
My advice for a 24 hookworm is to get the urban W hookworm. It is .1’’ wider and 2 ply. This would give it more bounce.
