Says it all in the title really, i just need afew tips if anyone has any, speakin specifically to President luke because in that melbourne vid you catch most flips nice and early and it looks really nice and mike swarbrick says its much easier once you get that, i have some clips of me trying it on a 4 set which i are on you tube, but i dont have a link yet because they haven’t finished uploading, but i will do when i get back,
Grateful for any tips
Cheers

I know that (atleast when I saw him) Xav’ doesn’t catch flips early, I think he is just really ballsy.
As for tips… I really don’t know. Try to jump higher in the flip maybe. So you finish the flip higher up.
That didn’t help much at all did it?
Mike
Well, I cant do much of the flip tricks, but I can crankflip.
I just look at it this way, I can crankflip on flat, jumping, kicking the pedals, getting the rotation and landing. All of that happens in about a blink of an eye. Its a fast process.
When I am going off a ledge or set, mind you I have only gone up to a 3 set so far, so nothing big, I think of the flip part just as I am doing them on flat, but I just ride a little faster to clear the set.
So basically, just because you have more airtime to perform your stuff, you should still treat it like your doing it on flat. =p
Thats what works for me.
there are my attempts i wasnt fussed about landing it because i know i can do that i was fussed about catching early which i didnt have much sucess at, this clip is crap i duno why i bothered putting it up ha ha
Ask Mike Clark, lol. Check this out. For easyness, I went from a 5 set flip (done months before, and haven’t touched anything since), to an 8 set only a week after i learned to catch them early. You need to find like a triple curb, or something, NO SET! You need to just jump up, not out at first. Flip them kinda fast, and you are looking to catch the back pedal at first. So you will pull it out in front of you alittle so you can stick the BACK pedal, then snap the other foot on the pedal before landing. Try into grass first, since you’ll probably fall at first. And make sure it’s like a 15 inch drop. Imagine the best you can that you are trying to catch it in an area right infront of you (above the ground of course) and spot that pedal as they flip. FLIP FAST! Good luck.

Cheers Shaun hope didnt offend you by now specifically asking you lol, but just thought your really busy with spring vid and about half of your posts must have been replies to crankflip tips lol, cheers everyone
I learnt by holding onto a flat handrail with my spare hand. It gives you a bit more time in the air. I guess you just need to pull up on the handle really quickly.
Luca1wheel you are like me. You mount left foot and then jump left foot forward. Isn’t that annoying?
lol how did you know that, i dunno why is it anoying, Only thing i hate is when things arent my side for grinding and i cant gap or hop to the left
