Tips for Crank Grabs!

So today I learned to crank grab! Yay! thought I’d let everyone in on some tips that helped me get it in case anybody is struggling.

  1. Start on the obstacle with your crank on it and just practice going to rubber over and over until you can get it 100% of the time.
2.If you are practicing on pallets put a piece of plywood or something solid over it if your pallet has gaps. I was practicing on one that had gaps between the boards. I was too scared to commit to my jumps and as soon as I put plywood down I made it 100% of the time. Jumping onto something flat and solid will increase your confidence 10 fold.
  2. If you are practicing on something just slightly higher than your crank and are having problems with the “grab” part, increase the height a little bit. It will make your jumps more natural and it may be easier for you to get the grabs. It certainly was for me.
  3. Practice! That’s about all there is to it.

So, that’s it. Hope it was helpful to someone

Maybe if you win the election and move to Washington D.C. then I’ll make it next year.
