Three foot drop

Lockheed-Martin just did a three foot drop that they are not too proud of;

OOUCH!

On a lighter note, my son Owen and his friend Nate (both 13) and I rode in the Cruiser Ride of the Tour de Fat last Saturday;

It became clear to me that one doesn’t need a costume if one is riding a unicycle.

John Childs and I crashed the Tour de Fat cruiser ride on Cokers when it was in Seattle last summer. It was a fun ride. We did some of the fun competitions afterwards. John even did the paper delivery route on his Coker. The beer beforehand helped his accuracy a great deal.

I missed the Tour de Fat this year. I completely spaced it and didn’t check when it was going to be in Seattle. I’ll try to remember next year.

Here is the Paper Boy Challenge being done on a Coker last year:

what’s the Tour de Fat?

The Tour de Fat is a bicycle event sponsered by the New Belgium Brewery, makers of Fat Tire Ale (a decent beer if I may say so) here is a website on that;

They are really good company in that they have made a big commitment to go green, using 100% wind power and paying alot of attention to the impact of their business. They are in Fort Collins, CO.

So cool what Greg and John did last year. Owen and Nate were not into sticking around for the whole afternoon so we missed the games. WAAAA!
