Thought I'd Say Hello

Hello to all Unicyclists, I became interested in Unicycling about 2 months
ago now whilst trying to learn in a coridor at Uni. After about three weeks
or so I managed to cover my first few meters and that was then it for me.
Christmas came along and there was a Unicycle for me. After that I have been
banned from riding the uni in my Hall of Residence and so went for the bug
journey outside. Since then I have got myself a Cycle Computer for the Uni
(OK I know I’m sad!!). Unfortunately we now have snow here so I am having to
read books about the theory of these tricks instead!! (I am not proficient
enough yet to risk the elements in snow like some people!!) Anyway I’d just
like to say that I am beginning to maintain a Unicycling page on the WWW so
please pop along sometime and leave any comments you have, oh and I promise
it will get better!! The page is at:-

 Bye for now,

    Ian.

Re: Thought I’d Say Hello

Dear Ian. Is your unicycle computer wireless? If not, where do you put the
computer itself?

Hi Shawn,

Well I figured that whilst riding along on my Uni I didn’t mind that much
whether I could see it or not, it was mainly to see how far I’d gone and max
speed etc… so the computer itself is mounted upon the seat post with wires
taped down upon the frame of the Uni.

Although I could almost have mounted the computer onto the front of the seat as
it has metal rings (kind of D.M style), though as I still fall off, occasionally
, I thought this was not the best of ideas!!

Hope that answers the question,

Ian.
