I’ve found one way to appease Thor, the god of unicycles. A generous application
of petroleum jelly ( vaseline) to the more tender parts in contact with the
saddle, before a long ride. It stops chaffing very well, so I only have worry
about stiff mussels the next day and can sit comfortably. I gather some blokes
like talcum powder but as a girlie I find it less than effective.
Are there any other women out there MUni riding seriously or even not so
seriously? I’ll be going to the British Juggling convention and would like some
female competion for the Uni games. Last time I played Gladiators at a
convention I was the only girl!
Jeez, you wusses! What’s wrong with a glowing red-raw crotch? I go unicycling
specially to get that effect!

: I also partake of the vaseline and find it useful to reapply every half hour : or so of a long ride (I was out for 6 hours yesterday and ran out of lube).
