A very high level of skill, technique, humor and showmanship. Very entertaining and you start to believe that little bonehead is alive!
Whenever I see that word, I automatically think of Larry Niven’s Pierson’s Puppeteers.
Awesome dancing and puppet-comedy. That guy could use a little stage or backdrop to get his legs out of the picture and add more “life” to the little guy.
It’s a testament to his amazing craft that it wasn’t even necessary! I was too busy marveling at his performance to think about anything else.
Sometimes simplicity can be perfection, as it is in this case! Conversely, I’ve seen some major productions with all the bells and whistles, but little or no substance. I like the fact that all that extraneious stuff is stripped away, to show the true heart & sole of the act.
wow thats great, its timed perfectly and you actually think the pupet is alive! but how about a pupet like that doing uni trials!!! that would be cool;)
