For those in the forum who happen to be TMBG fans, I’m going to make you very jealous. So tonight was their concert in Salt Lake, which I got to go to. :smiley: It was a fun concert (as they always are), but unfortunately it seemed too short. So around 9:00, it ended, but we didn’t feel like coming home yet. It just so happens that Gigantic: A Tale of Two Johns (A documentary on TMBG) was playing in SLC at 9:30, so we headed downtown, found the place where it was playing, and went in and watched that as well. So finally at 11:30, we’d had enough for the day, and headed home, where we watched their videos on the DVD we bought at the concert. So now it’s 1:00 in the morning, and now I’m done with They Might Be Giants for the day. What a good way to spend a summer evening!
Oh, and in the opening scene of the documentary, there’s about a half second of a unicyclist as he rides across the screen. That’s how it ties into this forum. I mostly wanted to brag…

My friend, i am very jealous. I am a pretty big fan of theirs and have been sine Flood came out. (Wow, that was awhile back wasn’t it?)

I’m mostly jealous that i haven’t seen gigantic yet. I’m probably gonna end up waiting till it comes out on DVD till i see it.

I did get that video you mentioned, with all of their videos, but i seem to have lost it an i am very sad.

Anyway… consider another fist shaken.

Yep you could say im mildly jealous…:frowning: well ok im very very jealous :angry: i am in love with TMBG, well not love but i like them imensely. my mum has just been to the states, visiting my bro and she ruturned with dialasong :smiley: completely coincidence, i hadn’t told her i wanted it soo badly or anything, she just got it for me!

my bro lives in princeton and hes just been to a concert of TMBG (lucky #?{£$#) and he met them and got a hat signed and stuff.

my bro also used to have the video with all of their videos on but he leant it to someone and he never got it back:( im gonna have to get “gigantic”. i hope they come and tour across the pond.

Make sure you come to NAUCC so that I might employ Max’s spoke-bender -liberally- to your ride. Be warned, though: I’ll be actual size- but seem much bigger.

I’m not jealous!! y’know why?!?!? cause I was there!! where were you sitting paco? I was sitting, with jonnyd, on the stone steps just to the right of the stage (left for TMBG) it t’was a great concert, I still need to see Gigantic, is it still playing?

Hey! Cool! I was farther back, but still on the right side. I was on the grass just behind the main path (about halfway between the entrance and the concession stand). If you got up to do anything during the show, you probably walked right past me!
I’m pretty sure Gigantic is still playing, but I could be wrong. You should go see it soon, 'cause I don’t know how much longer it will be here. Tickets are $7.00.

I seriously think there needs to be a nonverbal way to communicate to the world: “world I am a unicyclist, and anyone else who is a unicyclist, come and meet me darn it!!”

That was an excellent concert, IF i do say so myself.

i just want to know which one you think i should use.

Was when I saw them… few years ago. It was a very very memorable concert. Fantastic fun, I danced so much I could hardly ride home afterwards. I didn’t take my unicycle in to the show but locked it up outside.
