The Terminal

Saw The Terminal tonight. Very fine, very sweet movie. Has one really good, really funny juggling scene. I highly recommend it.

Jacquie and I saw it too. Great choice. I think Spielberg or Hanks are going to win some more awards.

They got the idea for this from a guy who has been living at the Charles De
Galle Airport in France for the last 14 years, I believe. Though he originally had some problem status, that has long since been cleared up, but he hasn’t wanted to leave. Jacquie suspects some level of mental illness there.

i’d say it was a B movie. Reasonable good for a Spielberg and Tom hanks movie, but definitely nothing spectacular. A pretty shay plotline if you ask me. A very odd ending too, in my opinion. Left me really stumped.

As always, however, Tom Hanks is a great actor. A nice feel good movie. Catherine Zeta-Jones (need i say more?). But I hope it doesn’t win too many awards…

i think its cool that its based on a real story. i wonder what it would be like to live in a public building for 14years? how would you get money? buskering on a uni?
