The S.E.J. Complex???

The Shaun Eric Johanneson Complex (S.E.J.C. for short)

lol, not to be too vain right. When I ride, once I set myself that every try after a certain point i’ll attempt to stick over the uni I always go every other run up. Before I set my mind on sticking it I’ll kick it over and over, but once I set on sticking over the uni it’s always attempt (if fail) run up, attempt again (if fail) run up, until I hit it. Basically I can never attempt to stick on the uni twice in a row without a run up imbetween. This deals with sets, rails, flips on flat, street type stuff. Does anyone else do this like religiously? Not just maybe a few times, and it’s not from fear, it’s like it’s my comfort zone, and I do better when I go every other time too. If so, Maybe we’ll get together and call it something better than S.E.J.C. but until then, lol. Laters

The thread says S.E.J. Complex…

Are you such in need for catching people’s attention that you have to give your name to a complex
You may think I’m kind of rude but aren’t you a bit egocentric, man?
I know you’re probably joking but maybe you should think about this issue seriously.
Keep up the good street riding job

I’ve got an even worse complex. When I’m working on a skill over a number of days, there’ll come a day when I pull it off on my first try… when no one’s looking… then I don’t get it for the rest of the session. Frustrating! GAAH!

You’re just reinforcing our stereotype of the French…

What the hell is stick and run up?
Can anyone explain what Shaun said?

Me too.
