I used to have an RC plane…I crashed it into this big pond, though.

I have a: Great Planes “Big Stick”
“Senoir Falcon”
“Jupiter”. Can’t think of the maker. It’s made of a repairable plastic that is very tough in case of a rough landing.
I also have a Great Planes “Cub” I am trying to finish.

I have a mini-t with a slightly better motor than the stock one.
Different wheels for it too.
It’s a car though.

I used to have a kyosho sandmaster, a classic entry level offroad nitro buggy. I eventually sold it to fund a KH24.

rc10GT which me and a buddy who also has one would take to a skate park and drive them around. they still work.

and a plane which was free, needs a little work and have never flown.

I have a walkera #4 rc helicopter which I have had for well a few weeks now. I can kind of fly it ok but its pretty hard, im getting the hang of it and its good fun even if I keep crashing it and have to keep buying new parts :o

i use to have a sick custom hpi savage. it was soooooooo nice

I used to race Nitro Sedans. HPI Racer 2’s Did pretty good, even got in a few magazines for running some big races and 4 track championships from 2 different tracks. I’ve thought about getting back into it, but the scene sorta died around here and I don’t want to have to travel too far to go play. I’d have to buy all new cars too since mine are pretty outdated.

I also have 2 original RC10 buggies, a Tamiya Lunch Box (yeah it still runs) and 2 HPI Micros.

i got a tamiya TL01 with some hop ups (i burned the modified motor though so all the fancy hop ups are pretty much pointless with the stock motor.)

kinda dont really bother with it anymore… it is in a box somewhere though - might get it out if it snows (snow and rc cars = lots and lots of fun)

is the rc10 a good rc truck?

I used to be seriously into rc electric car racing. Started with a Tamiya Sand Rover (couldn’t afford a Rough Rider) when I was 12, which was quite competitive in the 6v class of the local club. Later converted it to 7.2v and ran it until it fell apart, then bought a Superchamp (successor to the Rough Rider). After that I had a chain-drive Marui Samurai 4WD car (never really caught on, the early chain-drive Yokomo Dogfighter was a better design, if a bit low for some of the circuits), then a Schumacher Cat XLS and a ProCat. The ProCat ended up pretty seriously modified with MMS diffs, alloy bearing housings and the like - that season I won the Bristol area championship and came 9th in the Mid-West series. But it was costing so much to race at that level (I actually worked out it would cost no more to race a kart or sprint hillclimb car) I gave up after that (it was 1993 or 1994 I think) and sold all the expensive kit like radios and speed controls - the rest of it sat in the attic until last year when I had a big clearout to justify buying a coker  Quite sad to see it go in a way, but I was never going to use it again.

I also did a bit of 12th scale indoor carpet racing (with Mardave Ministocks and a Schumacher RC12(?)), and a fair amount of outdoor circuit racing with a Corally Pro-10 and saloons with converted buggy chassis (placed third in a national championship meet once at Mendip circuit :)).

I had a glider for a couple of years, but it wasn’t really me. My younger brother and my dad are very into model flying, but it was always cars for me.

EDIT: Almost forgot, I built a couple of hovercraft from scratch when I was in an experimental frame of mind. Never really got them to work properly though - they kept keeling over to the side for some reason.

I’m thinking about getting back into it.

I had a crappy remote control truck when I was little. I kept driving it off jumps and down things but somehow it never broke. It gave me hours of enjoyment.

I have a pickup truck with fat tires and suspension that I used to use to chase the dogs around or be chased by them. Now the dogs are too old to care.

I also have this Jimmy Neutron monocycle thing, that I’ve only had out of the box a few times. “Play” time with these is less than 5% of charging time so they’re kind of a pain.

i have an HPI savage but its always broken, and not from crashing either. It has a tuned pipe, steel spur gear, and aluminum front lower A-arms.

everything mod was from breaking, and other parts have broke but i just put the same thing in again (like starter parts)

My current problem it that the bolt that holds the clutch bell on is coming loose and the clutch bell can move about 1/2 froward and back. i haven’t looked to close to solve the problem, because something else will just break after i fix it.

they just seem too time and money consuming to keep running.

I just drew this course up. I think I’m gonna make it for my car. It would be an offroad course with the red lines being jumps, all those lines at the bottom mean a bumpy road type thing, if that would work.

I have an old team assiociated T3.

it is broken right now.

I don’t use it much, it is too expensive. When it is not broken it gets broken in like 5 minutes.

i feel your pain… same thing here:(

I race 1/8 scale nitro buggies at our track.

My r/c collection-
Traxxas Bandit (1st Gen)
Losi XXX-T - Stock
OFNA Ultra LX-Comp (My racing 1/8 scale buggy.

It’s a fun hobby. But kinda expensive, especially nitro.
