Latley I’ve seen lots of threads on pedals and thoguth maybe we should just make a big thread on em. I’ll start:Check these out. Any one tried em? All you ot to do is hack that spikey thing on the bottom and a you got a street pedal that is made of metal that don’t need a grind plate. They look awsome to me.
[EDIT]Sorry I thoguth I put this in Rec.
ha ha no replys:(
Yeah I know:( But I really like the looks of those pedals. They look like they’d be so awsome for flip tricks.
Unless you’re talking about Bicycle Pedals only this tread belongs in RSU or Product Reviews.
Still boycotting unicycle threads in JC.
Yeah I knwo I though I was in RSU but I wasn’t if I knew how to move ot I would. But for now who really cares its a unicycling forum.
Hoirrble street pedal, grinding would suck on that.
How so?
Have you tried them?
Never know tell someone has and tested them out.
Well going by those sticky-outy things on the bottom, I’m guessing they would grip a lot of stuff you’re trying to grind on. Then bend.
Has anybody used Primo super tenderizers? I’m getting a new pair of pedals and I’m not if i should get them or Jimmy C’s.
I was just looking at them again and theyir construction looks kinda shitty. Oh well twisted plastics are just fine:D I’ve heard nothing but good 'bout primo tenderizers dude. Have not tried em my self but considered it till I found out how much they weighed…
Primos rock. jim c’s are also really good.
primos have push in pins that don’t usually go in well but they stay in a long time.
jim c’s are excellent for grinding if you remove the pins and all the pins do come out.
it is a matter of personal preference. i prefer primos
Well I’m not really concerned about weight. Does anyone know how wide they are compaired to jimmy c’s?
I’ll be using them for trials, so can anyone tell me about the strength and grippiness of them?
Edit: posted at the same time, I guess you can disreguard this post
I have the Primo Tenderizers on my muni and I just don’t really like them… they’re okay, but just mediokre grippy, and they are so heavy and chunky. An ok-ish muni pedal, I suspect they would suck for any kinda of street that involves flips or unispin stuff. They probably would be good for huck-big-stair-sets street though, they hold up pretty good and strong.
the answer to this thread is 9/16ths.
I used to have primo’s. In my opinion they give better grip than jimmy c’s and i really liked them for muni. I didn’t do any trials on it so im not too sure about that but I think jimmy c’s would probably be better.
Because they are thin metal and will bend easily.
