The Gleep?

Have any of you ever heard of putting the gleep on something? If not tell me what you think it means. It is a phrase that our family uses quite often and I was wondering if any of you use it the same way we do.

gleep = blame ?

Is it anything like putting the smackdown on someone?

Well, when we say we put the gleep on something it means that we hold on to it and do not let it go. (My mom first said “Put the gleep on the starting blocks” when I did track. I always tended to start at the starting line without blocks because someone else took them. It often made me so angry.)
