For those who don’t know, the forum was hacked Saturday evening (US time). The forum was completely down but Gilby got it back up and running.
Read about it in the NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS area. Drop Gilby a note of thanks for providing the forum and keeping it going especially after the problems of lastnight.
We owe Gilby a lot of thanks for the headaches he puts up with to keep this forum going and running smoothly.

Thanks a lot Gilby. Makes you start to wonder what would happen if, without our knowing, this forum all of a sudden did crash and Gilby couldn’t get it started again, we couldn’t even start a new thread discussing it

Of course rec.sport.unicycling continued to function. Decentralized
Usenet newsgroup and all that. There actually was a thread about the
unicyclist.com server failure while the server was down.
