Anybody planning on seeing this movie? It actually looks like it will be quite good, according to the trailer, and the reviews from both critics and moviegoers. Supposed to be genuinely scary! "The best thriller since “Aliens”.

I haven’t saw it yet but I think it kinda looks like a remake of that movie The Cave.
I just saw part of The Cave so I don’t really know. I guess I need to go watch Decent to find out lol.

From what I read, it’s waaaaaaay better than the cave, and totally different. Only similarity is the actual cave part, just like the only similarity between Jack benny and Itzak Perlman is the viloin.

Maybe it will end up being a halfway decent movie.
I saw the previews of this at ‘Lady in the Water’ when I saw it on opening day, and right after the preview got over, I said out loud “I am GONNA see this.”
…or maybe even a wholly decent movie!
The Descent is a good thriller and with a nasty ending. I haven’t seen the Cave, but I do know it was a coincidence that two cave scary movies came out at once.
On an interesting side note… I WORKED ON THIS MOVIE!!!
I was working in the prosthetics department! And if you rent the DVD, you can see me in the extras section connecting a pelvis to a spine! The only downside which everyone makes fun of is they got my name wrong in the credits! So if you do see it, I’m under Prosthetics Technician, Samia Wood (my name isn’t Wood) nee hee hee hee heeeeeee!
as you can tell I may be excited about this.
