Finding out at photography school graduation that I won the award for best portfolio. Then receiving a standing ovation from my class as my photographs were shown in a slide show put to music.
My first 2 hour mountain flight on a hang glider.
Taking my 5 year old son ice skating for the first time and seeing the joy on his smiling face, then two days later, him thanking me again for his ice skates.
John Foss summed and oneisenough summed it up pretty nicely though there was also when I learnt to uni and got about 20m for the first time, that felt pretty awesome.
Wow i have always wanted to meet a ventriloquist!! how did you get into it?
yeah i know what you mean. standing up there and everyone laughing. then when you come off stage you just want to go straight back up there again! I am dreading the first time i bomb out and according to my usual luck to fuck up ratio, it should be soon.
Finally getting a terrible wedgie out after all damn day! It is so terrible especially with boxers that get tangles around various ‘parts’ and crannies. Helping a little kid ride your uni and watch as his face lights up with joy. Being watch by a crowd of people juggling/uni then have them clap. Random compliments.
Coming back after a good uni ride in the heat, sweating like a pig with your blood still pumping…
Anything to do with an adrenaline rush… bike riding also, and driving a car way too fast into corners!
