the beauty of the cheap

i am slamming my Summit all over the place, crank grabbing on the ruffest ledges without care.

i could never do this on my old KH Pro 20.i never wanted to mare the bueaty of such a high price item.

with the Summit i am unabated by luster stigma.

(that was a poem)

Who ya callin’ cheap, you shameless hussy?!!

When that lovely KH 20-inch I once possessed
that was so costly, precious, and pleasing to my sight,
carefully, carefully, and cautiously I rode her, lest
I mar, smudge, or scratch her with a slight.

Yes, so lovingly did I pedal her 'round and 'round
that she n’er suspected my true intent
was to run her shamelessly o’er the ground
only to, in the end, barter her for the rent.

But though then, and now, I still regret
my fickle lust for her label and gleam,
I have since found a new saucy harlet
who sates my desire for trials supreme…

Yet, she causes in me no sense of caution,
and I bash her about without exhaustion!

(that was a sonnet) {sort of}

Beautiful!

I have just put my trials uni back together, with a KH hub and cranks, and a new powder coated frame (pics soon)

The first time I rode ‘her’ on any trials, I was really careful.
After the first little scratch though, i just went out and thought, well there is not point having a trials uni, but not using it properly because I don’t want to spoil the paint! Actually, it looks good with some battle scars on it

Joe,

EDIT: Mine worked out NOT cheap at all! LOL

Re: Who ya callin’ cheap, you shameless hussy?!!

Tch!

Disgusting!

I misspelled “harlot” !

Here’s the (belatedly) edited and corrected version:

When that lovely KH 20-inch I once possessed
that was so costly, precious, and pleasing to my sight,
carefully, carefully, and cautiously I rode her, lest
I mar, smudge, or scratch her with a slight.

Yes, so lovingly did I pedal her 'round and 'round
that she n’er suspected my true intent
was to run her shamelessly o’er the ground
only to, in the end, pimp her for the rent.

But though then, and now, I still regret
my fickle lust for her label and gleam,
I have since found a new saucy harlot
who sates my desire for trials supreme…

Yet, she causes in me no sense of caution,
and I bash her about without exhaustion!
