I’m posting from the home of the Memphis Muniacs (Tommy and Celest) after a wonderfull day ridding at Shelby Farms park (the largest urban park in the US). It rained, the wind blew, we got muddy, we froze- we had a GREAT time riding on our 3 hour off-road trek. Tommy found Lewis and I because of the forum you provide, extended his hand in trust and friendship- which I greatfully accepted.
Thank you Gilby- thank you very much. I intend to use this link again, when I get home:
If not for your effort, I would not now be an honorary member of the Memphis Muniacs, have a belly full of sushi, and be sliding off to sleep in antisipation of ridding in snow tomorrow for the first time in 10 years.
I went to Memphis with Chris, and we had a blast with Tommy! We did 3 hours yesterday going along the Tour de Wolf course, and maybe other parts of Shelby Farms also. I’m not sure, since I’m not local to Memphis. It was super muddy!
Today (Sunday) it didn’t rain, and we went on some trails and roads at Overton Park. Muddy, but less so. VERY cold, with some brutal wind. I think it was in the 30s, I didnt even check. We did about 2 hours on the Munis. We threw some boomerangs for 15 minutes or so after that.
Anyway, the point was, we have had 2 fun weekends with Tommy (the first was down here in Jackson, MS), all thanks to hooking up with him on these boards!
