Thanks everybody

I never could have done it without you. I did 2 static freemounts in a row, and was able to ride the entire length of my driveway each time! (About 20 meters.) The only thing now keeping me from Level 1 is a longer space to ride in and dismounting gracefully with uni in front.

You people (sniff) mean so much to me!!

Congrats!!! You are now officially a UNICYCLIST:D

Yeah, Congrats from me too. As another newby I know how good it feels.

That’s great news! It only gets better from here on in.

Andrew

congratulations! just hope you have more patience than me because when io could do all that stuff i was satisfied now when i learn something new its quite a buzz lol

but well done and keep trying

laura xxx :stuck_out_tongue:

Great job. Freemounting is da bomb. (Or something like that).

i understand the inherent ‘correctness’ of KK’s post
i couldn’t help but think that’s he’s wrong tho
i suspect u become a unicyclist the first time u see a uni and u dont see a circus-prop
the first time u think of a uni and u dont think ‘that’s impossible’
the first time u see someone ride and u think ‘that’s kewl’
that’s when u become a unicyclist

well said sir

So technically speaking, you don’t need to be able to ride to be a unicyclist?

i wouldn’t know
i’m not very technical…

but no, not really
not in this zen kinda way i’m looking at this whole story now
not learning to ride the unicycle that isn’t there…

u’ve met ‘New Yorkers’ that have never been close to New York?
surfers that have never seen the ocean?
poi swingers who can’t even juggle?

riding a unicycle is one thing
being a unicyclist is something completely different

it’s a state of mind

i think…

Re: Thanks everybody

:sunglasses:
You did it! Learning to ride can be hard work. Then fun really begins.

Actually you’re close to level 3
(Acording to the new skill levels )

Congrats Digigal! You’ve just reached a very important plateau. Now you can practice anywhere you want, which means your skills should advance very rapidly now. We’ll be waiting for you to make your “extreme” video…
