I see it on TV all the time, its this foam mattress that conforms to the shape of your body, it uses “memory cell technology.” It was “originally developed by NASA.” It would be cool to put this material in the fusion saddle.
If you go to their website, they will send you an information package that includes what looks like a rather large sample of the material- FREE. But its only available to people in USA, and i live in Canada, so I was wondering if someone who lives in the states could enter in their address, and once it arrives, mail it to me, it looks big so you could cut it in have and we could share it, and i would pay for the shipping.
sounds like a good idea, but once you lay in it it forms to your body and then looses its softeness, i dont think it would work to well, maybe in an air seat…
exactly, once you get off, but once you sit on it, it will sink into a thin peice of foam, so you would need and uber thick peice of foam, and then i stll dont think it would work very well, accually i either asked about this or made a thread about this and i got alot of thing to prove me wrong… oh well… try a search you might find somthing
I actually did this already from a past thread, which I can’t seem to find right now. The piece they send you is tiny. 4x3x1 inch rectangle. You would need 4 pieces to make up a seat and 1" thickness is not nearly enough. It would need to be at least 5" thick. They do sell a pillow of the same material, but an air seat would probably be cheaper and better. By the feel of the sample they sent me? I say don’t waste your time.
you can but one of not brand name pillows that are the same and use the foam from that. I have one of the pilloes and I think it would be good for an intire seat or as a thin piece to top an airseat.
