Taiwan Trials Uni - what do you think

I was shopping online on a chinese online store (like eBay) and I came across this. I’m not thinking of buying it or anything, but compared to the other no name (apparently branded ‘knight’) unicycles it looks really nice.

Surprisingly it is:

  • 19"
  • Isis
  • regular (not lollipop) bearings
  • Aluminium frame
  • and i think it has magnesium pedals
  • maxxis creepy crawler tyre

I would like to hear what you guys think of it.

It costs less than a Nimbus so it would be a really good starter uni if it is as good as it sounds.

$200 but it would be heaps to ship it from china

will put the pictures up later, can’t work out how to do it…

Apparently there is lifetime warranty on the frame but after they see what trials riders do now days they will probably get rid of the warranty.

Yeah I’ve seen the knight unis
Some I’ve seen in person and ridden. Although the trials one I have not

Some are really ok unicycles I’ve tried some that sold for 300-400rmb plus 40-50 for delivery ( to Hong kong) that’s 50-60 usd

These were solid usable square taper unicycles

Cheap but cheerful

This trials certainly looks better and costs more. If I come across one
I’ll give it a try and get back to you

I kinda like it… i really would like to try one out.

I saw a wholesale site for this, but you had to buy 100 units!

It looks to be the same as the Yaabaa Furious unicycle: http://www.k-124.co.uk/product.php?product_id=554

It could possibly be from the same factory. What brands are made in china? Does anyone know?

The thread title mentions Taiwan. KH and Nimbus are both made there…

yep these ones are made in Taiwan but I found some that were made in China that look suspiciously like the Impact unicycles.

any other cool no name trials unicycle?

These are the ones that I said looked like Impacts but they are sold out - $220

And this seat also looks like the naomi saddle - $30

Everything is so cheap! even the creepy crawlers are only $25

WOOOOW This is so not fair! i wish shipping was way less!

There’s a problem?

YCNHTMU :stuck_out_tongue:

you dont have to buy 100 for these I think. and if anyone in Australia wants to buy something my parents business import from china and we could arrange to but it on the shipping container. It would take a long time to come (a month) but it would be cheap
