who hasnt done their summer reading yet?
I just started things fall apart.

my school assignes a bunch of books we have to read over summer break.
oh man that sucks. I never had to do anything like that
So how do they know if you acually read the books?
when I had summer reading they sometimes gave us tests or had us write essays on the books.

What is the point of summer reading exactly?
to make you do work over summe break.
I just started mine it sucks dick.
If that was here in Sydney, that would mean your 2 months are wasted for nothing really. As if you’re going to remember what you’ve been reading. 
Buncha grade A scholars we got here.
We always have summer reading for IB, but it’s not bad. I had more than just that for summer homework this year…my 4000 word essay, 12 hours of spanish practice, and a book to read. I don’t mind it so much, cause it at least keeps my mind from being TOTALLY dead when school starts again.
I have some for uni, I have to read my brother’s thesis - Combustion Imaging In a Direct injection Gasoline Engine (10,000 words) and my project supervisor’s book Introduction to Internal Combustion Engines (661 pages). Still have 6 weeks before term starts though.
Nope, no summer reading. Thank god for it too.
