I’ve just got to tell someone…brilliant weekend. I can free mount ! I’m so
proud of myself and it feels incredibly liberating to know I can ride even where
there are no trees or lamposts for when I come off.
I did it first on Saturday by holding the wheel and then went on to just getting
on. This is on my 24" Pashley ! Can’t do it every time of course but at least I
know now that it is possible.

Alright! Good on ya I know how you feel, I just learnt recently, and it’s so
cool to not have to wait until the next post (or parked car!) to get back on.
FWIW, it took me weeks to learn to freemounting, so I reckon doing it in a
weekend’s pretty impressive You’ve got a good reason to be happy.
