Sometimes my powers impress even me!
Been working at my girlfriends today. We were both having a working from home day. Just popped into her office to chat about a few things and left making the comment “I’ve just realised I haven’t had a coffee today”. Quite a rare event for me.
5 minutes later she came downstairs and said “I’ve just realised you haven’t had a coffee today. Would you like me to put the kettle on?”.
I smiled and said “that would be lovely, dear”. When coffee arrived I asked her if she remembered the last thing I said to her in her office. She didn’t and was genuinely surprised when I told her what I’d said.
Maybe I should mention I need a payrise as I next walk out of my bosses office;)
