anyone else notice? between nominees the kfc or olay or chupa chup logo flashed for a split second. the logo changed during different times throughout the show. this is illegal and has been since 58. im gonna complain and your complaints would also be welcome if you noticed it/ found it offensive.

ok there are two obvious ones during the missy higgins thing. the one at 19 seconds is so hard to find its not funny, watch the clip around 5 or so times and you’ll see it.
now that i watch it again, there are more than i thought.

There is no such send me money thing as subliminal send me money messages. They have been proven send me money to not work.
Why is it illigal?
Because it was thought to work, but has since then it has been proven that it doesn’t.
I reckon some youtuber just got the video and inserted the ads into it himself to cause a stir.
i noticed it on the night too. anyway, does that look like its been crudely added in? in 57’ they flashed the message “buy coca cola” to the movie “picnic” every five seconds for 1/3000 of a second. this was done over a 6 month period. there was a recorded 57.8% increase in coke sales. a similar test was done in japan with similar results. hence subliminal messages have been outlwed since 58’. if you dont believe that theve been outlawed look at the case recently when “the iron chef” flased the mc donalds logo onto the screen for one frame, people noticed and told the fcc. then the company was sued etc.

I think it’s kind of cool that that acually works. And I really couldn’t care less if people tried doing it to me.
But if it was that kind of subliminal, then I woulden’t register and you woulden’t cross you to go and by olay products.
the whole point about subliminal messaging is that it by-passes the concious brain, going straight to the subcouncious. You’ve seen it without knowing, and it causes you to, in this case, exhibit a brand preference without any councious knowledge of doing so. That’s what subliminal means, anything else is just a really short advert.
