Is there anyone that has made a studded tire with hex head screws going from the
outside in? --As in the hex head itself is what digs into the
ice. Just wondering if it’s better or worse than pan head screws going from
inside to out.

Just a guess, but it seems that hex head screw tips might be a tad harder on the
tube…but what a great test for a thornproof tube.
