strategy for recouping from broken ankle

Day 5 of my broken ankle rode my bicycle (with my walking cast on).Day 13…Swam a 1/2 mile. Felt good. I now have an air cast instead of a walking cast. My strategy has been to isolate the break and exercise around it. Blood flow to the effected area provides healing…My doctor was not happy to hear I was biking so soon but x-rays today proved him wrong…Hopefully unicycling in two to 3 weeks… Pain is always my guide on exercising…

The best advice is obey the instructions of your physiotherapist to the letter, if you want a full and swift recovery.
I have seen the results for people who do and those who don’t, and the difference is dramatic, sometimes delaying recovery by months.
