i also do airsofting which is much like paintballing but with no paint. insted high power airsoft guns are used fireing 6mm bb pellets. great fun!

so feel free to reply with any weird, strange or unheard of hobby’s that you take part in.

Extreme laundry basketing, its awesome. You can do like trials and freestyle and stuff. Oh, and if you take pictures of yourself doing it they turn out pretty cool.

I make soap.

It’s not a rare hobby, but I like playing with legos a lot. I don’t know of anyone else at my school that plays with them, so I guess they are kind of an obscure hobby. Most people stop playing with them when they turn ten.

I wouldn’t call airsoft a strange hobby.
I would call it fun, painfull at times but fun, I also play.

I’m a parent.

I agree. I used to have hobbies but now I have children. Five soccer games down this weekend, two to go.

That only takes 24 hours a day. What do you do in your spare time?

mad cow, how do you like me now

I make usable furniture out of k’nex.

I like snakes… I’d have several if they were allowed here. I had to leave mine at home :frowning:

I would say poker, but that’s a fad now, so I’ll say I consistantly make money play poker, which is much harder.

I make it a point to not drink/smoke… which at college is certainly a rarety.

If juggling and unicycling (multitasking and balancing) were prerequisite to parenting, we might have some more excellent parents out there!

I flew a glider yesterday; assembled from a bunch of parts carried in a bag on the roof of my car, I foot launched the wing into the first bit of Reeta to reach Tennessee. Soared the ridge of Whitwell in broaken, turbulent lift, got up to cloud base- then pushed down by sinking air. Visited with a migration of 35 hawks. Spent an hour trying to penetrate into high wind to someplace I could land; sky either trying to drop me into the trees or, alternatively, suck me into itself. Dodged some cows and manuer to land unscaithed.

Shloger fencing; Wednesday, sparred against apponants fighting case (with 2 swords), sword and dagger, sword and buckler. Managed to flick away the daggers of both those I sparred with- very satisfying to watch your foe’s weapon go sailing away.

Disc golf. Shot 5 over par couple days ago- well above my personal best of 3 down.

Connsidering recreational dance- but haven’t decided on form; Swing, Ball Room, Disco? Used to do Irish, but there are no local groups.

I enjoy removing unnecessary apostrophes.

extreme ironing!

I acctually know someone obsessed with this.

folf… extreme croquet… extreme bocce… thats it, and folf is becoming mainstream fast… ohwell…

Is that the same as disc golf? I’ve never heard that term.

When I was in high school, I memorized the first 250 digits of pi. Is that strange?

Now that I’m gradually progressing with my uni skills, my next “strange” pursuit will be learning to play a Theremin.

I do knife throwing as a sport.

Also I enjoy taking extremely close macro photos, I’ve done 1,000 photos through a microscope (40-400x) and around 4,000 photos at 10-30x. Check out: www.camerondonaldson.com

P.S. My webpage is still under construction; but feel free still to check it out.

High-altitude yawning. Blindfolded underwater toenail-clipping. Drunken impressionist fingerpainting. Extreme sleeping.
