My guess is that someone has a website and they’ve placed these images
on unicyclist.com and linked to them. This allows them to have the
images displayed on their website, but it doesn’t use any of their
bandwidth for visitors to display them. It’s a common practice to hijack
other peoples bandwidth in this manner.

Personally I think Gilby should delete or rename them. Leaving the
images only encourages others to do the same.

I know of someone who had this happening in their galleries with mundane images like this. If you replace it with porn or something naughty, then delete the page with the pics (but keeping the link live), you can then mail their isp telling them about their porno site!
