Ok, so i’ve been out of the forums loop for a long while, what with college and my various projects. So i figured i’d jump back in with this, our latest project:
Dome, sweet dome!
it will be covered. complete with carpet floor and fireplace.

that is just slightly bigger than a greenhouse dome that I made with my mom in our back yard a few years ago. It looks good.
Why not just make it bigger and have ‘to the death fights’ in it? No need to carpet or cover it.

I love geodesic domes. Thanks for sharing. Here’s a site that sells them, but I mainly posted the link for inspiration from their photos.
It’s conduit with the ends crushed flat, right? In my experience building things with conduit it’s very hard to crush the ends so that they lie on the same plane. How did you do it consistantly?
we built a jig mounted to a 1/2 ton arbor press specifically for that purpose.
STRAIGHT TO THE DOME!!! That’s how we do in Truckee, all day, every day. Is that thing still at Kyle’s? If so I wanna do some filming in it.
