So, I was practicing the unicycle, which I picked up a few months back. Myself and two buddies, are in a school parking lot, when all of a sudden a police cruiser rolls by, sees us and proceeds to enter the parking lot.
There are two officers, and I have a running joke that EVERYONE respects the wheel. So, as they pull up to us, I decide it’d be funny to roll up on them, on the uni. So I did.
They took our IDs to run them through the system (all clean) and proceed to tell me that it’s impressive that I can do that. The male cop begins to explain, “You know it’s trespassing to be on school grounds after they’re out of session.”
I reply, “Imagine the looks I’d get if I was doing this while school was in session.”
So, during all this a second cruiser see’s his partners talking to us and pulls in…
They start joking around like “Oh you should try it.” They decide another officer who isn’t there should try it. So they use the radio to find his location, and then call him personally.
He takes maybe 15 minutes to show up, and between the call and his arrival, a 3rd cruiser shows up…carrying two more officers.
For those of you keeping score at home…
It’s now 3 police squad cars, and 5 officers.
They tell us we’re free to go, we opted to stay and wait for the next officer, the one to come through and hop on the unicycle. He arrives.
They all tell him that they had tried, and he should too, so he decides he’s gotta do it. Tries and tries, decides it’s his gun belt preventing him from doing it.
Couldn’t resist though, took off his belt, and tried again. Meanwhile, a 5th squad car shows up, being driven by a sergeant.
It must have looked like somebody had just gotten shot with a lot of drugs, because the final count was…
5 squad cars, 7 cops, 1 Wheel.
