- Sally is the President of her local unicycle club and is responsible for the
storage and maintenance of the club’s collection of unicycles. Since Sally is
responsible for maintenance, she decided to take an inventory of the tires,
pedals, seats and chains on the unicycles in her shed. She counted 27 tires,
46 pedals, 21 seats, and 3 chains in her shed. How many unicycles, ultimate
wheels, giraffes (single sprocket), and triple-wheelers does the club own?
Re: story problem
ok 18 unis. 3 giraffes 2 3-wheeled unis. and 4 ultimates. Is there really a
connection between math and riding unicycles?

Or maybe “none of the above - just a shed much like mine”.

Assuming that there is no BC (impossible) wheel she has a total of 23 unicycles
including 3 giraffes 2 3 wheelers 2 ultimates 16 “standard” unicycles

That is correct! You’ve won a brand new Miyata “Invisible Wheel” ! Send me your
address and I’ll get it out in the mail today. IW’s are wonderful because they
are so light (I’ll even pay for the shipping, BTW) and they rarely get stolen.
