I get to the credit card part and then nothing happens. I’m on Linux + Firefox … don’t own any windows machines.

Are you a USA member? Because of insurance purposes, you must be a member before you can register. If not, go to the link below to join. Then you can register for our event.

I think USA is where I got hung up. :frowning:

We have 11 who have already signed up successfully including one today. Contact Tim Slason on USA website if you can’t get it resolved.

I’d love to go to this, but I don’t think I can this year. Eventually I will.

I’m registered, and travel arrangements have been made. Now, I need to decide which unicycles to bring.

By the way should I bring supplies for frankentire making and do a tutorial?

The crazy answer is bring as many as you can jam in your car or plane! But if you can’t bring that many, bring at least a muni. Bring whatever tire size muni you comfortably ride (24,26,27.5 or 29) There will also be opportunities to “borrow” unicycles from others for a ride or two. Consider The whole weekend like a demo weekend of unicycles!

Hmm. I’m not sure what you’re talking about Nathan. But it sounds interesting!

Im bringing as many of my collection as I can fit

If you look closely you can see these two splices on my tire, I took two 29" tires and sewed them together, people really seem to like it so I said id try to bring supplies to STOMP so I could teach

Here’s what my STOMP roster is looking like, not everything is fully put together due to experimentation but will be functional by then.

First is the blue scooter.

The 35 spoke Rocketeer. 11/10 for Wildlife Durobility.

Everyone’s favorite Wheelie Cool, now with a much better seat, still no handle bars though.

The Dirt Surfer (no rear motor attached currently)

The Mountain Penny, featuring the Chaoyang Totally 36" frankentire, bad front brakes, useless rear disk brake, and foot pegs (rear wheel not shown)

The soon to be unidirectional Coker. Still a WIP but should be done tomorrow.

And last but not least Hunkules, 32" rim without a tire for scale.

I dont think we’ll have time at STOMP to make a frankentire but I can make a few snapshots with the scraps I have and make a sort of museum exhibit detailing each step.

Excellent! That’s a great assortment!

There’s a possibility that I might finish my custom frame by then and get my geared uni up and running but dont count on it

There’s also this thing that doesn’t work but I can bring it if people want to look at it

I’ll be taking a plane, and will be checking a rolling b!ke box that can hold an entire 29” road b!ke. Due to weight, I don’t know how many unicycles will fit, but am planning to bring at least two plus pads, helmet, etc.

Photos of my Muni options are attached. I am most comfortable on the purple uni, but it doesn’t have a brake, and it has a Vee Speedster tire. The tire is great for dry muni, but not the best for wet muni. I love the 27.5 Oracle as at has a brake, and rolls over roots easily. I don’t often ride down slopes/hills steep enough to need a brake, so STOMP will possibly offer a crash course in using a brake. Expect me to be asking lots of questions.

The blue KH is my latest roster addition (thanks, Felix @mindbalance !). I’m not sure that STOMP needs to be my “training ground” for that muni.

Lastly, I do have a 24” Koxx Track Monster with a Duro wildlife (Halo Contra) tire (24x3), and 160mm cranks. However, this uni will likely not enable me to keep up with the group.

Suggestions are welcome, but my current plan is to bring the 27.5 Oracle, and the purple 24” Large Marge, that actually rides like a 26” tire, with the blue KH26 as a possible third uni. I’d love to bring the Koxx Track Monster, as I’d love to see what some better riders can do with that uni on the Trials lines. I see that Uni as a “24-inch Trials uni”. It actually currently has an Impact Naomi saddle.

After airing up and taking a test drive I noticed that the Frankentire is starting to separate, I believe i know what the issue is but repairing would require dismounting the tire, which is already a tight fit and might make the issue worse. So I want some votes, do we want this in a gentle use state or do I risk trying to repair. The pictures on the top of the wheel are the bad join while the bottom is the good one.
