Still looking for club charter/bylaws

Hi all,

I am looking for club charter and bylaws to use as a model for the Arizona
Unicycle Club. I also would like to get the groups opinion of liability
insurance needs for a unicycle club. When I was with the Sacramento Bike Hikers
we carried over $1,000,000 in insurance AND had riders sign a disclaimer. I
remember that our lawyer believed that a disclaimer alone was not enough
protection.

What do you all think? Does TCUC carry insurance? Do the Austin One-Wheelers?
What about insurance for UNICON and NUC?

RE: Still looking for club charter/bylaws

I don’t know if anyone ever replied on this one so here’s a few bits of info:

When I was in the Redford Township Unicycle Club we also carried a $1,000,000
policy, I believe. This was mostly for performances, when venues required we
have it to be able to be in there. In order to have the insurance policy, the
club incorporated so there would be an entity to be represented by the policy.

For NUC, the USA is also covered by a million dollar liability policy.
