Steve Irwin Tribute.

Hello folks!

I know that there is a Steve Irwin thread already but I have my reasons for starting a new one.

His death saddened me greatly, I am a janitor in a primary school and at 8:15am I open the door to let the waiting kids in for their breakfast. One of them who always gives me a paper told me about it. It made the rest of my day a bit shit. Steve is a proper hero!

Many many moons ago, I started making a Steve Irwin song, using samples from him on Scottish TV and a royalty-free song I got from somewhere or other.

Upon hearing the news of his death, and after my initial sadness, I decided I would finish this song and post it onto the internet for all to hear. This would be a kind of “send-off” from me to him, and it would be felt by all that hear it. Or it may just make you laugh.

This link will take you to the file and its info within my gallery.

Right Click here and choose “save target as” to save the mp3 file to your computer.

Feel free to share it with friends, relatives, , enemies, shoppers, anyone with ears basically.

And if you want to put it somewhere else on the web, go for it, but mind and don’t try and pass it off as your own. I would like everyone who ever heard of Steve Irwin to hear this.

Comments gratefully recieved.

Nice one.

It brought a tear to Jacquie’s eye. Thank you for sharing it with us.

At first I was going to ask for help downloading the file, because the right-clicks were just giving me “main.php” But then when I left-clicked your second link it brought me to a page with a Quicktime logo on it, and using the browser’s File, Save As command got me what I needed (Firefox on Mac).

I listened to this as I got ready for school, but then realised I just stopped and listened to the song and stopped getting ready.

I really enjoyed it, and will let everyone I know hear it.

I’m sending it around to some radio friends of mine.
Can’t promise any airplay, but it’s out there.

Mail me your ‘credits’ info to unigild ( at ) gmail (dot ) com.

would i be able to play this on radio right now?
i just want to so much. everyone should here it.
i miss him…

Very touching.

Thanks for that one.

Rest In Peace, Steve Irwin: Hero and all 'round funny bloke

Ed

Cheers folks!
