However…there are STILL purple squares around some tie fighters, and you can still see DV’s eyeball from the red light in the tie fighter and his then red eyes.
I had the vhs version running a few seconds behind the dvd version, the differences are astonishing

I never saw the original release in theaters back in '77 but the theater close to my house had a double feature when Empire Strikes Back came out . They played both movies in the same night. It was awsome. Hopefully I’ll get the DVD’s for my birthday which is coming up soon.
