Speed, Power, Versatility, and lots of CHROME!

Well, it’s not a unicycle but it does have one part that spins around.

After breaking three cheap blenders in as many years, I finally invested the big bucks in this baby! Yeah!!! WOW.

I’m going to crush some ice and make a shake!

Small appliances and unicycles: life’s irreducable accessories.

What’s Green and Red and goes 100mph?

Why, Santa’s sleigh of course!

A frog in a blender, of course!

We’ve had the same blender for over 17 years (since before I was born) and it still functions just as well as it did when it was brand new…Which leads me to wonder, how do you break a blender?

rocks != ice

Here’s how I went through three:

  1. I bought a cheap blender and the blades break while grinding ice.
  2. With my next cheap blender, I made one too many rounds of margaritas at a party and dropped the irreplacable cheap plastic pitcher.
  3. I bought another cheap plastic blender and the plastic gears between the motor and the pitcher wore out. See this thread for the dramatic retelling of the fate of that blender.
    Napalm from CandyLand

This one has a glass pitcher, though it’s replacable (and I’m not much of a drinker any more). It also has metal gears.

Add a tuned pipe and some high octane fuel and this thing might crush rocks

i could see me with that blender in my apartment later in life…

“Excuse me sir, we’ve recieved a noise complaint. Have you been running a lawn mower or weedwhacker in your apartment?”

“No, ive been making smoothies!”

dude tou should get a magic bullet, the one in those infommercials i think that can crush rocks! the only bad thing is it comes “stock” with cup sized pitures so you can mix a drink and flip it over and theres you cup! although you can buy a full sized piture fore extra$

Here’s the magic bullet. I don’t have a TV so I have to rely on the web for important information like this. THis site has links to all sorts of infomercial things. They didn’t have t he Garden Weasel, which is what I really wanted to see. They don’t have the miracle slicer either. My mom got one of those from Ronco. One Thanksgiving she ended up needing 12 stitches from slicing potatoes with it!!! In retrospect I think she mist have used it without the safety guard. My Mom’s a real thrill seeker sometimes.

Pardon if you’ve seen all these, but it’s all new to the TV-less household!

Puree any bricks lately?

Wow, thats like the king blender

did u blend anything up yet?

Oh yeah. Right now, I’m using it to prepare the mortar for some touch up tuck pointing that needs to be done on the chimney. I have a pug-mill attachenment and the ceramicist next door is going to use it to make some new clay for her wheel. Tomorrow I am going to grind up all the metal recycling in it before I drop it off at the recycling center. I think it will take up less room in the back of my car that way.

I don’t have many trees in the yard that need trimming. But I bet it chips wood like a dream!

:astonished:

i’ve never been sexually attracted to a kitchen appliance before, i am now. i wonder what that means…
